A Thank You and a Sad Goodbye

Hello there, Michelle here. I made the extremely hard decision this week that it was time for me to step down from the DTDF DT. I can't even explain to you how much of a difficult decision it was for me. I have been on the DT since 2008 but I feel it is now time for me to leave. The DT are all amazingly talented and it will be sad to not be working with them anymore.

For my last card, I wanted to make a card for Tracy to say thank you for all that she has done of me over the years. My card used the MFT Blissful Butterflies dies with some water-colouring effect on them using the TH Distress Ink in Broken China. The sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Feeling Fruity set has been stamped and then cut out using an MFT Sentiment Strip. I have finished off with some Bazzill Jewels and MME Enamel Dots.

I wish the shop, Tracy and all the DT all the best going forward. Thanks so much to all the DTDF customers who have been so supportive of me over the years also.

Happy Hello

Hello there, DT Michelle here back with another card to share with you. Today I am using the gorgeous MFT Fishnet Stencil and using it with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I love how these colours all blend so well together. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps Everyday Moments stamp set and I have cut it out using one of the MFT Fishtail Flags Layerz Stax Die-Namics. I have finished the card off with a few MME Enamel Dots.

Toby.......

Stamp- Toby from Little Darlings Saturated Canary.
ribbon-Grey Velvet.
Dies-

Hiyah everyone!! Happy Monday!!

I have a super cute little Toby to share with you today! isn't he just the most fabulous little guy?! I decided he had a whole tonne of sparkle in that bag so I got out the Teresa Collins Stationary Noted papers as they have some great sentiments in them (....and I had seen his one whilst I was stroking the papers last week!!!)

I loved colouring this little guy up with my promarkers. I try to stick to just 3 colours when I am doodling away and the browns and blues are one of my fav colour combo's ever.

A few die cuts and a bit if foam later and he was all done! so cute!!

Thank you for popping in! Hugs Lou xx

A bit of felt and Die-Namics!!

Morning all!!!

And you thought dies were just for paper?!! lol!!! I made this a little while ago but haven't shared it over here and I had too much making it to not enable you all!!

I had had some felt just sitting in my cupboard for at least a year!! do any of you ever do that?!! it needed to be used and my Die-namics dies were just sitting there and I thought I would give it a go! and i didn't need to worry! they cut like a dream!!

I used my yummy Die-namics dies .. fish tail flags layers stax die-namics. The roses are made with my Die-namics Mini Royal Rose!! and one of the flowers on my Tim Holtz tattered florals for the leaves. I sat and hand stitched the pink and green felt together, I love stitching, its so relaxing and then I hot glued my roses together and added a little gem to the centre of each one.

I cut 'LILY' out with my Tim Holtz chip block alphabet strip die and attached that with hot glue too. I positioned the roses up at the top so that when it is in a book it won't slip down and loose the page!

have a great day!!

hugs Lou xx

Lord Tim Tag!!!

Hello Peeps!
I am really late in today! my weekend was full of awesome carol concerts at church and birthday fun for my little Mo and a wicked chesty cough and lergy for us all!!! grrrr!!! so I am late in getting my little DT make for you all done today. 2 paracetemol and a good old swig of covonia at 6pm and I felt well enough to go crafty ahead!!!

Its a bit of Tim Holtz for you all today! I am behind with my gift wrapping and wanted some really nice gift tags to go on top of the kraft paper I am going to be wrapping with this year.
I poped the little reindeer mover and shaper into my bookplate and tag die and placed my MME paper so that it cut him out down in the corner, that left a gorgeous reindeer silhouette when I mounted it onto my Kraft card. Then I cut the 25 and a tattered pine cone out and distress inked them to give them some colour. I punched a circle out and mounted the 25 onto it then crackle accents the numbers.

I ripped a scrap of the kraft card and glued it to the top of my tag and the fir cone fitted perfectly in the little hole at the top of the tag. It looks so cute and the MME All is bright paper was just a gorgeous match with it yummy doily pattern. I can't wait to pop this tag on someone's gift.

Right, I am off back to mooching around and feeling sorry for myself!! romfl!!!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Trimming the tree!

Morning Peeps!
Its Lou here with a bit of a christmassy make to show you all. I just can't resist a Saturated Canary so I inked one of the gorgeous stamps up and got out some of my favourite christmas papers yesterday and had a good old play!!!

So this little cutie is my DT make for you all to peeky today. I had some colouring time in the afternoon while Mo and Daddy played on the PS3 and yummy makey time last night once an exhausted Mo had fallen asleep and it was bliss!! I also seem to of has a complete die cutting fest with all the different dies on it too!!!

There is.......

The stamp is Saturated Canary Trimming the Tree. She was just so lovely to stamp and colour and I love those layers in her dress.

The papers and the little cookie hearts are all from the First Edition Festive Treats 6x6 paper pad, its yummy with lots of double sided and glittery papers in. I foam dotted the hearts onto some MME merry and bright twine (...sob sob...its almost my last little bit of this gorgeous twine!!) and of course a little bit of Stickles Star Dust bling to finish off the baubles, star and skirt on the tree.

Happy Day :)

 Papers - MME Summer Splash.
Morning everyone!
I hope its a whole tonne warmer where you are than here in Lincolnshire because its sooo freezy I could of stayed tucked up in my duvet this morning!!! but I wanted to share this cute little Greeting farm guy with you!

I used up the last bits of my treasured MME Summer Splash paper to make my gorgeous Little Mo his birthday card and a little matching notepad, its his birthday in December and I am quite proud of myself for being super organised this year!!!

The papers had a little sheet of pennants and badges that you could cut out so I had lots of fun choosing the ones I fancied and then made a little row of pennants using the last squidge of my MME twine!!!

I stamped him out with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him up with promarkers

Here's a closer look at the birthday card....

The little strips just behind him are borders from the same page as the gorgeous little pennants came from.I curled the edges of the pennants a little so they looked like they were blowing in the breeze.

Then I got busy on a matching notepad. I coloured him up slightly differently than the card but still using the same colour pens. The name is made with the Tim Holtz Chip Block Alphabet strip die.The little 'Happy Day' sentiment comes in the stamp set and I just stapled that on before adhering the whole piece to the front of the notepad.

I hope you enjoyed a little 'Happy Day' posting from me today!! He's just so cute you can't resist him really and I loved making this little pressie for my little guy, he will go crazy for it because it has dinosaurs on and he is always making notes and plans so a little notebook will be very happily received!!!

Thank you for popping in!
Huge hugs Lou xxx
