'Enjoy the Little Things'

Good morning everyone Ann-Marie popping in today to share a little crafty make with you all.

When I opened my DT box I fell in love with this cute little pair from Stamping Bella's "woodsies" collection called 'Maisy and Madeline have some tea'.  They are just adorable and beautiful to colour up and it just seemed fitting to make a little teabag caddy to keep all my fruit teas in.

On the back of the tea caddy I used the beautiful little sentiment that comes with the stamp and just matted it up and used the cute Whimsy Stamps 'teapot and cup' die and popped them at the bottom.

Adorable little pair aren't they!

Items Used

Papers:  My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary 'Isn't She lovely - lovely lines'

Okay that's all from me today.  I hope your week is going well so far and you've managed to sneak in a little crafty time!

Take care.

Mimosa - Winter Birds

Hello everyone it's Ann-Marie here popping in to share some Christmas inspiration with you.

I've gone all traditional today and used a colour palette of red and green with a splash of gold inspired by some My Mind's Eye papers 'Vintage Christmas' and these are beautiful.  For my image I used a Bildmalarna stamp 'Mimosa - Winter Birds' and she is definitely one of my favourites I can see her being used quite a bit.  To embellish my card I added some beautiful ribbon, twine and a few little jingly bells and those gorgeous roses were made from the Cheery Lynn 'Tea Rose Small' die and the fab leaves were on the same die and they cut so well.  I was really impressed with how they turned out and how easy they were to make.

A close up of the gorgeous roses.  Just love them think I may spend an afternoon just making lots of them in different colours!

Last piccie is a close up of the image.  She is so adorable and as usual she has been coloured with my copics and I'm really happy with how she turned out.

Okay so that's all from me today enjoy the rest of your week folks.

Birthday Wishes

Good morning everyone and as it's Wednesday that means you have me, Ann-Marie, popping in to share some crafty love with you all.

I have a card to show you today which I have made using the gorgeous My Mind's Eye 'Chalk Studio 2' papers and I do love these folks together with the adorable Tiddly Inks 'Birthday Wishes' stamp.  I love the fact that I have only used one sheet of paper and I coloured up the image, cut her out and raised her a little with some 3d glue.  I didn't really want to cover much of the paper so just made a pennant from Whimsy's 'Celebration Pennants' set and stamped it on to card which I had coloured with the same pens as the image and cut them out.

Items Used

Image:  Tiddly Inks 'Birthday Wishes'
Papers:  My Mind's Eye 'Chalk Studio 2'
Pennant:  Whimsy 'Celebration Pennants' stamp set
Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink pad

Okay that's all from me today, I hope I have inspired you to get your crafty fingers a making!

Enjoy your day, take care.

Pippa Loves to Plant

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

I think it's fair to say that most of us in the UK are fed up with all the rain we are having at the moment so I have made a pretty summery card to remind us of sunnier days.

The gorgeous stamp is by Stamping Bella, with the lovely friendship sentiment is included. As this is a nice big stamp I made a centre stepper card using some pretty papers from My Minds Eye. The beautiful Spring Border is from Memory Box and the butterflies are by Impression Obsession.

Items Used:

Stamp - Stamping Bella Uptown Girls - Pippa Loves to Plant coloured with Promarkers

Papers - My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Adorbs
Bazzill  Kraft Cardstock

Dies - Memory Box Spring Border
Impression Obsession Butterfly Set
Die-Namics Pierced Rectangles

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my card today.

Party Balloon

Hello there, DT Michelle here sharing a card I have made using the MFT Party Balloons Die-Namics which are now available in the shop. I have first taken a sheet of paper from the MME Sky's The Limit Paper Pad and cut this with an MFT Circle Stax Die-Namics die to use as the sky. I have then cut some clouds using the MFT Clouds Trio Die-Namics from vellum and added these on top with some MME Enamel Dots. I have then cut the balloon from ore of the same paper pad and added this with 3d foam pads adding some twine around. The sentiment is from the MFT More Essential Sentiments set (currently not in stock, sorry).

U Rock!

Morning DTDF Fans, just quick card from me this morning using papers, card and dies...plus some distressing.

I have used the MFT Die-namics Rock & Roll die set with some scraps of Bazzill Kraft (base & stars) & Bling (flames) cardstock. The papers are a mixture of different My Minds Eye On the Bright Side - One (denim piece), Happier (orange piece), Lime Twist (star & teal pieces), and Basic Grey Basics Kraft paper pad. I have embellished with a few metal studs and letters a pack of My Minds Eye letters in the Follow Your Heart Up & Away range.

To make the flames more dimensional I have added some red chalk ink to the edges, and distressed all the papers which hopefully add to the masculine feel of the card.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see Michelle's creation...

Better Late Than Never!!!

I am posting this a little later than planned today as my daughter thought it would be fun to have a nasty case of projectile vomiting (think of the scene in Pitch Perfect...) last night and I have been on clean up duty...

So I decided to make another card with the Prima Mixed Media Doll...HERE
I stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured her skin and hair with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - 100/C3
I then stamped her again onto My Minds Eye Union Square papers and cut out her dress and layered it over the top of the first stamped image. I layered all the papers with black Bazzill cardstock and embellished with a Bingo card, some tulle, crochet ribbon with a velvet centre and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

I hope you like it...next week I promise to be back with my card in the morning....

TGF Cheeky Geeky...

So following on from Lou, I thought I would show you another style of bookmark...and it's my favourite one to make.

I have used a cute stamp from The Greeting Farm called Cheeky Geeky. She is stamped onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock using Momento Ink in Tuxedo Black, and coloured with Copics.

I have used up scraps to make the bookmark the biggest piece you need is the cardstock measuring 4x4 inches. They are a great way to use up scraps and the kids love them...I have lost count of the number I have made and then given to my daughters friends for their birthdays. This time I have used scaps of red cardstock and scraps of My Minds Eye Lost & Found 3 - Ruby. Embellished with some seam binding, a sticker and a sentiment made with a Dymo style machine.

If you want instructions leave a comment with your email address and I will send you them.
