Who does n't love a donkey!!!...

Hello friends,

It's Sue here today!

I'm trying to catch up with all my blog posts so here is card I made a while ago for a lovely friend of mine.

I have a real soft spot for donkeys! <3 (Be honest - who does n't)???

This card is made with the gorgeous 

Stamping Bella - Donkey Trio Stuffies Rubber Stamps

Stamping Bella - Mail Chick Rubber Stamp

MFT Die namics Stitched Fishtail Frames

Ink On 3 Blackout Hybrid Ink Pad

I used my favourite card for pencils - Bockingford Hot Pressed, coloured this cutie with Faber Castell Polychromos and cut him/her (?) out! (:

To create the background I cut a 10cm x 13cm rectangle of Bockingford card and blended Distress Oxide Inks in Scattered Straw and Worn Lipstick over it.  I also splattered it with water and Perfect Pearls to create texture. 

I then used the largest Fishtail die to cut a piece another piece of Bockingford and fixed it to the background.

I cut out a fishtail banner die... (Your Next Stamp - discontinued - but any small die would do, you could adapt this bit)!... and stamped the sentiment from

Stamping Bella Mail Chick

in black ink onto it.  I fixed the sentiment to the card design as shown, along with the donkey!

I stamped a gorgeous background stamp, heat embossed it and then painted it with distress inks; then that done, I die cut the painted panel to create the owl design.

Timeless Tulips

I've been playing with some lovely stamps that are something a bit different for me. I normally opt for 'cute and cuddly', but today I've been playing with some of the gorgeous Sunny Studio layering stamps called Timeless Tulips.  

I've made a couple of notelet cards, and a matching gift tag. I stamped the tulips onto smooth white card, layering each one using the same ink pad which became darker each time I added a layer.  I then stamped the stalks and leaves before adding detail with my pencils.  

I added quite a lot of pencil to the leaves, and then stupidly cut them off when I die cut the images to fit my notelets!   ARGH!!!!

I used a 'hello' text stamp from the same stamp set.

In the garden

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

All the lovely weather this week, has had me itching to get in the garden. Admittedly. to sip on Pimms, rather than do anything productive, so that (the garden, not the Pimms.) is my theme this week.

First up, it's Pippa Loves To Plant from Stamping Bella. There is no way I look this glamourous when I get involved with dirt, let me tall you.

Just Beecause

If you don't already know this about me, today's post might give away my Dirty Secret. Yes, my name's Faye and I have a terrible Sweet Tooth.

With Halloween fast approaching, I wanted to make a Treat Basket for The Little Guy. He loves this kind of thing, although he was not best pleased when he noticed I pilfered the sweets back so I could take a photo! The Die-Namics Trapezoid Treat Box and Woven Basket Dies made light work of this project. And Your Next Stamp Smiley Happy Critter Crew provided the Cute Factor. 

Yep, I really wanted a pie when I was making this one. Thanks Your Next Stamp Waddles Sweetie Pie Stamp Set. Although it does come with a cautionary message... Bring on the Stretch Pants! You heard it here first, People ;)

Airy Fairy Twila

Hi Everyone, it's Airy Fairy Faye here :)

That was my nickname as far back as Infant School, which should tell you two things. One. I have loved fairies for a long time. Two. I have always been 'Away' with them. So, it will now come as no surprise to you that I fell instantly in love with Fairy Twila here, from the latest Roberto's Rascals Release at C.C.Designs. I just adore the expression on her face.

The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp Whatnot Sentiments Set Four. But I have to tell you, I love pretty much every sentiment from the YNS Whatnot Sentiments! The finishing touch was a little heart from the Die-Namics Notched Tag Set. I use this sooooo much. And on that note, I'm gonna scoot off, before I get you into any other mischief...

Your Next Stamp Set!

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here and today I am sharing two cuties I used from the same Stamp Set, let's make these bad boys work for us, hey ;)

The Stamp Set is called Balloon Buddies and is from the latest release at Your Next Stamp, it's full of lovely images, I've made two projects already and I haven't even used the balloons yet!

On this creation, I have used the flower stamp from the set and a die from Die-Namics Blueprints 26. Easy Peasy!

You wouldn't think these stamps came from the same set, would you? The project is so different, but just as fun. And on that note, I am off to have some, the boys are waiting and the sun is shining!
