I Do

Morning everyone!
I made another mini album. This one uses envelopes, which I don't usually use as I prefer to make my own, but if you're in a rush they certainly help cut the time down spent making your album.

I've included a few photographs of the pages below, if you would like to see more pages or a video, pop across to my blog here. (If it isn't live yet I'm just waiting for YouTube to process the video, so check back in a bit).

Even though it's fairly simple I like the way it came out and you could fit quite a lot of photographs in this album.

I covered my album with some neutral card stock and then matted with the design papers on black cardstock. I matted the image (coloured with Copics) onto some black cardstock also and popped a die cut doily behind.

Some pictures of the inside.

I used the little tab die from Make a Card #3

On the inside back cover I cut a large heart with a Whimsy die and stamped the sentiment that comes with the image stamp.

That's all from me today, have a great weekend everyone! :) xx

Daphne

Happy Tuesday all! Linda here with my Tuesday inspiration post.  It's back to work for me today so this post is scheduled, but I only have today and tomorrow in work and then I have a few days off as I'm visiting my parents.  This does mean no more cards from me for a week and a half as I won't be crafting (though I will be colouring images while I'm away) but I'll try and get my Blog Candy sorted before I go.

Anyway on to my project for today.  It's a card using the adorable Daphne by the talented Artist Sylvia Zet, love her images. I paired her with a gorgeous papers from MME.  I've listed all the items used from the shop at the end of my post, with links to take you straight to them.

I coloured Daphne up in Copics to match the papers, and cut an aperture in my paper with a Stax die to frame her. I inked all the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink and sewed them with top stitch thread.

I added some glitter to her wings and doted her with some liquid pearls in white opal.

I added a lovely bow cut with a Die-namics die and used a piece of a Prima embellishment in the top corner. I added a bit more Prima bling to the bow and a couple of corners.

I used a co-ordinating sheet of paper from the same pad to decorate the inside of the card, and added some plain white card cut with one of the stax dies.

Well that's all from me for today, I'll see you again in 2 weeks time with some more inspiration to share.

Take care! : ) x x

Miss Sunkissed

Happy Tuesday everyone!  DT Linda here again, did you all enjoy your May bank holiday?  I spent mine very quietly in my crafting corner mostly, but I'm really pleased with the cards I got made.

This is my very first time inking up an Elizabeth Bell image not because I don't like them but just because I've not had the opportunity to use one before, I get such limited time.  I must admit that being on Tracy's DT has been very good for breaking me out of just using the artists that I'm familiar with and my normal papers and embellishments too. I'd not been introduced to MME before I started here, and now I'm firmly addicted lol.

Anyway, my share for today is using one of the new Elizabeth Bell designs.  Links to products used are, as always at the end of my post.

These beautiful papers are MME - Lost and Found -Heirloom.  I used the matching pack of enamel dots for a perfect colour match.  The gorgeous filigree heart is from a La- La Land Crafts die.

I paper pieced her dress with some scraps of the same paper pack and stamped this Whimsy Sentiment on to a La-La Land Crafts tab. She's coloured with Copics, you can pop over to my blog for the colours and extra photos. I added a little detailing to the sleeves with liquid pearls.

Just a few flowers and some seam binding to finish and I decorated the inside of the card with another sheet from the 6 x 6 pad.  This one has a lovely sentiment and clear space on the lined paper, just perfect for adding your message. Well that's it from me today, enjoy the rest of your Tuesday and I'll see you again next week...can't WAIT to show you what I've made (yup, I made good use of the holiday weekend and it's already made lol) I really love it!
Bye for now!

Everyday Magic

Good morning everyone! Linda here with my share for today.
I thought I'd get head start on the old Valentine's cards as it's now only a month away.
I have to admit I'm totally in love with this paper pad from MME, all of the designs are just divine, I like every single one, which is quite unusual for a pad, there's normally at least one you're not keen on isn't there? As usual I've put links to the items in the shop at the end of my post.

The stamp I used is by Tiddly Inks, love this image so much it's very versatile I think, as you can use it for so many different occasions depending on what paper you use it with and how you colour it.  Isn't she just gorgeous? This stamp set comes with 2 fab sentiments, but for this card I made my own.  I really like these mini ticket stamp sets from Whimsey, you can make pretty much any kind of message with them, they're so fun.

I love these enamel dots I used on her wings and elsewhere, they match the colours of the DP exactly and although the pic in the shop doesn't really show it clearly, 3 of the colours (the 3 I've used here) are shimmery with a touch of sparkle, lovely! I covered her wings with Stickles too and used liquid pearls around the frame.  There's some more photos and details on my blog including Copic colours used.

Well that's it from me today, I hope you like it and have a super crafty day

Linda :) xx
