Meet Edna

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

I seriously luuuuuuuuuuuuurve Stamping Bella's Edna. To be fair, I have a pretty major girl crush on all things Stamping Bella, but Edna just says something to me and so, I've been bustin' to have a play with her.

I've put her with a slice of paper from my all time fave paper Pad My Minds Eye Lost & Found 2 Blush. I can hardly bring myself to cut these papers, but Edna was worth it. Tracy is not carrying this paper pad at the moment, but I have listed two very similar, equally gorgeous pads below. In fact, race you there...

Thanks so much for stopping by... Have a great day.

Stay away from the cake!

Hi Everyone, it's Mogwai Faye here today :)

You remember Mogwai from The Gremlins? They start out as these little adorable, cute, fluffly little gopher type things. Then. You add water. Well. I'm not saying I'm a Gopher. But. Something does happen to me when I get near cake. That's all I'm saying today...

Everyday Magic

Good morning everyone! Linda here with my share for today.
I thought I'd get head start on the old Valentine's cards as it's now only a month away.
I have to admit I'm totally in love with this paper pad from MME, all of the designs are just divine, I like every single one, which is quite unusual for a pad, there's normally at least one you're not keen on isn't there? As usual I've put links to the items in the shop at the end of my post.

The stamp I used is by Tiddly Inks, love this image so much it's very versatile I think, as you can use it for so many different occasions depending on what paper you use it with and how you colour it.  Isn't she just gorgeous? This stamp set comes with 2 fab sentiments, but for this card I made my own.  I really like these mini ticket stamp sets from Whimsey, you can make pretty much any kind of message with them, they're so fun.

I love these enamel dots I used on her wings and elsewhere, they match the colours of the DP exactly and although the pic in the shop doesn't really show it clearly, 3 of the colours (the 3 I've used here) are shimmery with a touch of sparkle, lovely! I covered her wings with Stickles too and used liquid pearls around the frame.  There's some more photos and details on my blog including Copic colours used.

Well that's it from me today, I hope you like it and have a super crafty day

Linda :) xx

My Minds Eye Washi Tape...

So Tracy has been adding more Washi Tape to the store recently. I love it, and have for a while now, but for those who have never heard about it let alone used it, I thought I would make a simple card with it.
So I have used a collection of My Minds Eye Washi tape called All is Bright. Washi tape is amazing as you can lift it off the card without causing any damage...which is great if you change your mind about placement...

So I cut little flag tails into the end and layered the Washi tape, added a doily folded around the front of the card and also a sticker from the All is Bright range.

So as you can see a very simple card. I have decided that I will be making a lot of cards with the Washi tape this year, I love how simple it is to use.

Stamping Bella - Uptown Girls...

Don't know about you, but I love these girls....if I could I would own them ALL....

So here is a card I made with one of them...
So I have used Faith the Fairy, and again I wanted to try the "no lines" colouring as I wanted to see if it worked better with different stamps...I stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Memento Ink in Summer Sky and coloured her with Copics... I think I prefer how this one came out compared to last weeks Magnolia image...and the only thing I did differently was to use a pen to make the eyes stand out again..

So the papers on this card are all My Minds Eye Find Your Wings and Fly - Up & Away paper pad. I have added some MME Washi Tape and also some stickers...all from the same range. The "hold fast to your dreams" bit was cut from one of the sheets of paper in the pad, and I finished off with a doily, some twine, a Craftwork Cards tag sentiment and used the sentiment that comes with the image.

Be sure to pop back tomorrow to see what we have to share with you...

Whimsy Stamps Bingo Card...

Sorry I am so late posting this today...I really thought I had hot schedule...when in fact I had saved it...

I have a quick card to share with you this morning/evening...
I have used the Whimsy Stamps Bingo Card & Sentiments stamped onto Bazzill Kraft cardstock with black Versafine ink. The papers are all My Minds Eye Lost & Found 2 Sunshine and the base was also made from Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have embellished with some co-ordinating ribbon, a few pins, some bling and a doily.

Come back tomorrow to see Hazel's gorgeous card...

My Favorite Things...

Afternoon, today I am sharing a card made with one of the My Favorite Things clear stamps...

I have used Doodle Garden - Far Out stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink into Craftwork Cards digital cardstock and coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E23/E25
Clothing - B91/B93/B95/R37/R39/R20/R21/R22/YG23/YG25/BG72/100
The papers are all My Minds Eye Hootenanny and I have layered them with some Bazzill cardstock (not sure which blue colour it is...). I have embellished with a doily, bling and the sentiments etc are all cut from one of the sheets of paper from the pad and some are then on 3D pop up dots.

Make sure you check back tomorrow to see what the other DT members have been creating.

Card for a Man...

So this weeks card is a simple one from me...just using papers, card and a sentiment...and a punch!

So the papers are My Minds Eye Kate & Co Oxford Lane, and I have layered with Bazzill cardstock not sure of the colours though. I just used pieces of the paper as the main part of the image...which included hand cutting one piece into a tie shape, and adding on the the journal type pieces and a Craftwork Cards sentiment. The punch was used to make the notebook type piece of paper.

Thanks for looking, and don't forget to check back tomorrow to see what Michelle has created...
