Penguin Party
This adorable little pingu looks like he's playing 'Jack in the Box', popping up to say 'hi' on this Christmas gift tag. As usual he's watercoloured with Distress Inks and topped off with a scrap of organza ribbon.

Skating Chicks
I love making shaped cards and this cracker shape is great for an easy festive card. It's just a rectangle with some snipped triangles and die cut ends. It's great for some of my smaller images.

Squirrel !
I'm in love with these little furballs so I've kept them the focus of my card. The sunrays in the sky are created using a stencil which I've had for a while but this is its first outing (and I kinda like it).

Happy Halloween
I don't 'do' spooky so I've made some cute Halloween bunting using a couple of Gerda Steiner stamp sets. I've die cut them into banners and strung them together with some purple ribbon.
I've also used some twigs from the garden to make some matching flags by using the bunting dies horizontally.

Peek-a-boo Reindeer Stuffie
I've created a sky around my image by masking the image (very tricky with all the baubles, holly and star!) and sponging ink around it in two shades of dusky blue. The snow is added with a white gel pen.

New Best Friend - Pawfect Birthday
I've made a kitty card similar to the puppy version I shared a fortnight ago. I love the sentiment to go with this one! I've kept the layout very simple to focus on the image and used a soft seam binding for texture across the top.

New Best Friend - Best Friends Have Four Legs
I treated myself to the recently released 'New Best Friend' from MFT at a recent Dies to Die For pop-up shop. This is my first card using the stamps and co-ordinating dies. The stamped sentiment is from the same set too.

Boom!
Hi everyone, it's Kat here!
A few weeks ago I really enjoyed playing with the volcano dies from MFT and couldn't resist another play but this time for something a little more interactive!
Did you spot the pull tab?
Do you wanna see what happens?!
Boom! It was so easy to create the slider element as all the bits you need are included in the die set, and this could be used for so many other slider cards too...watch this space I guess!

Lava-ly!
Happy Friday and Happy Easter weekend everyone!
It's Kat here and I can hardly believe it but there were no Copics involved in the making of this card!
Instead, I had fun playing with the new MFT volcano dies and co-ordinating sentiment stamps...yes, it's another punny card!
I used Distress Inks to colour the background, the volcano and the foliage, and really love the effect they create, and it's so quick to do as well!

Go Wild
It's mid-week already and I have a Wild card for you today. The image is from a Gerda Steiner stamp set called Go Wild and I've used two images and a sentiment from the set. I drew the grasses in with a pencil before shading it in (just in case I didn't like it!). Methinks my little guy is peeking in the wrong direction! :0)

Up in the Air
I'm sharing my mid-week post for Dies to Die For featuring some fabulous images from MFT called Up in the Air. I've also used some stitched cloud dies and stitched scene builder dies so there's a bit of 'stitched' theme running in the background!

Santa's Elves
I've been getting inky again with my ink pads and daubers to create a background for some die cut images. I 'cased' a card from Karin using the Santa's Elves stamp set. I liked it so much that I made 3 using different elves from the same set.
To create the circle I cut a circle from paper and then use that as a template to ink some Tumbled Glass working my way inwards from the edge getting slightly lighter towards the centre.

Reindeer Kitty
As soon as I saw this guy in a recent release from Whimsy stamps I knew I wanted needed him. I've used the sentiment that comes with him and shaded it in an ombre style.
I showed the finished card to my hubby who said 'Who are you gonna give that to? They might take offence at the sentiment".
I told him I was planning on giving it to him. ;0)

Reindeer Games
I've had this stamp set for a while but this is its first inking. There are three reindeer in the set, and this one was so adorable I had to choose him first. I've teamed him with a 'let is snow' die and some snowflakes in the form of pearl dots falling around him.

Huggy Squidgie
Woohoooo, I'm so excited about my card today because it's included in the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials (issue 147) which was out last week.
The whole Dies to Die For DT are promoting the lovely new Stamping Bella images available and I used this image called Huggy Squidgie which is really sweet and great for a 'friend' card.
I hope you like it, and if you get the mag, check out the other DTDF DT cards on pages 55 to 58. :0)

Huggy Squidgies
Today I'm sharing a card featuring a lovely image called Huggy Squidgies from Stamping Bella. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I've kept the design really clean and simple as I thought they deserved to be the centre of attention! They were so much fun to colour and I love this image for a friend themed card, or 'just thinking of you' card.
