Happy Day :)

 Papers - MME Summer Splash.
Morning everyone!
I hope its a whole tonne warmer where you are than here in Lincolnshire because its sooo freezy I could of stayed tucked up in my duvet this morning!!! but I wanted to share this cute little Greeting farm guy with you!

I used up the last bits of my treasured MME Summer Splash paper to make my gorgeous Little Mo his birthday card and a little matching notepad, its his birthday in December and I am quite proud of myself for being super organised this year!!!

The papers had a little sheet of pennants and badges that you could cut out so I had lots of fun choosing the ones I fancied and then made a little row of pennants using the last squidge of my MME twine!!!

I stamped him out with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him up with promarkers

Here's a closer look at the birthday card....

The little strips just behind him are borders from the same page as the gorgeous little pennants came from.I curled the edges of the pennants a little so they looked like they were blowing in the breeze.

Then I got busy on a matching notepad. I coloured him up slightly differently than the card but still using the same colour pens. The name is made with the Tim Holtz Chip Block Alphabet strip die.The little 'Happy Day' sentiment comes in the stamp set and I just stapled that on before adhering the whole piece to the front of the notepad.

I hope you enjoyed a little 'Happy Day' posting from me today!! He's just so cute you can't resist him really and I loved making this little pressie for my little guy, he will go crazy for it because it has dinosaurs on and he is always making notes and plans so a little notebook will be very happily received!!!

Thank you for popping in!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Let It Snowflake

Hi there, we are getting closer now to Christmas so I thought I would get my favourite snowflake die out of all time - The MFT Die-Namics Let It Snowflake and make a little card using the snowflakes as the focus. I have cut them out with vellum (from my stash) and added them to a bse made from Bazzill CS (for the base), followed by white CS and then a sheet from the MME Lost & Found 2 Sunshine Collection (there are blues in there too!). the sentiment is from the MFT Die-Namics Christmas Ornaments set stamped and cut out using an MFT Die-Namics Sentiment Strip. Please click the links in the supplies list below to be taken to the shop.

MFT Die-namincs Airplane Greetings!

Morning Peeps!!
Its a cold, dark drizzly one here so I decided to brighten it up by having some Save the Date fun!!

The MFT die-namics Airplane Greetings stamp and die set is just perfect for some save the date cards that are a little more fun than the traditional kind! I had so much fun making this card!!
There are so many different greetings in this little set that you are spoilt for choice.....
Die-namics Airplane Greetings Die & Stamp Set

...to make it more personal I just printed out the names of the couple using my word programme on my computer onto some Centura pearl cardstock.

The papers are MME Summer Splash. I cut the little hills by hand, inked them with some Forest Moss distress ink and then popped the top hilly layer up on some Pop up Dots. The paper for the sky was inked around the edges with some faded jeans distress ink.The little heart is a punch from my stash and I used a little thread to attach the banner on with. The plane is popped up too.

Next on my list is a birthday card with this one, its just too much fun not to be played with!!! got to treat myself to a MFT Die-namics cloud trio set first though!! have told hubby its a must on payday!! he he he!!

Have a super monday everyone,
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Boo's Fun

Here is my card I made for the latest challenge here at DTDF. I saw these ghosts from CC Designs are fell in love, how cute are they? They remind me of Casper the Friendly Ghost! So I have coloured the one holding the pumpkin in with Copic Markers and cut out; I have added it to a circle cut using a MFT Die-Namics Circle Stax die on Doodlebug Beetle Black CS with 3D foam pads. This has in turn been mounted with 3D foam pads to the card base. The base is simply two sheets from the Echo Park The Apothecary Emporium pad mounted to more black CS and twine wrapped around. Bazzill Jewels added to finish.

Anya Celebrates...

Today I want to share I card I made with the new larger Anya stamps from The Greeting Farm. This one is called Anya Celebrates and I have stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/R11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - R81/R83/W0/W2/W3/W5
Present - BG10/BG11/BG13/W5/W7/R37/R39
The papers are all Best Creation Sweet 16 6x6 paper pad (they aren't showing online...so email Tracy). They are a mix of fab pink/aqua/black papers they are all double sided...one side is glittery and the other plain...there are even die-cut pages, which I have then layered with some Bazzill Black cardstock. I have embellished with some black tulle, a couple of pins, a Craftwork Card sentiment and a Prima bling corner. I have also used one of the gorgeous Inkadinkado wooden quote stamp called Ten Normal Days (these are very hard to find in the UK...and Tracy has the widest selection).

Be sure to check the blog again tomorrow, as we will be back with our November Challenge.

Bookmark..

Morning everyone!!

Well you would laugh at me this morning! I have been having a little play with the
Die-namics  bookmark stamp and die set and ooooh I am loving it!! this is the first make I have done so far but I can see a whole lot more coming this afternoon.

I cut the bookmark and then added the circle stamp and the book stamp to the top. I sewed a little MME merry and bright twine through the little book and glued it down to make its own mini bookmark.

I had a little scrap of MME Summer Splash paper that I stuck onto the bottom of the bookmark and then I stamped this gorgeous sentiment onto a bit of the kraft card and added a little twine under that too.

I stamped with black onyx versafine ink, I love how yummy and crisp it is on sentiments.

Sorry for the ever so pants picture but the light here this morning is terrible!!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Morning Peeps!!
Well its been a busy weekend with our families new little furball princess addition but last night I finally got a few minutes to have a play with some more bits of paper from my  MME Boo To You! card kit and the super fun CC Designs Halloween Logos.

The witches warts themselves are of course rainbow drops...oh how I love these rainbow drops!! and they were super fun to dress up as witches warts for the little trick or treating peeps that will be visiting soon.

Have a great day everyone!!

Patsy with a Halloween twist :)

Morning Peeps!

If you haven't noticed by now I LOVE Halloween!!! and this weekend I had fun giving Kraftin Kimmie's Patsy a bit of a halloween twist!! Her little 'I'm all shook up!' sentiment was so perfect for a spooky card I just couldn't resist!!!

The MME Boo To You! card kit was an absolute darling to play with too, packed full with fabulous papers and die cuts and I loved the little ghosty too!!

I paper pieced Patsy using some of the papers from the kit and then got to work colouring her up a little zombiefied with my promarkers! The edges of her and the wee ghosty are distressed a bit with Brushed corduroy Distress Ink to blend in the white edges.

I added some Glossy Accents to her cool shades and popped her and ghosty up on some Stix 2 clear foam pads to make them stand out a bit.

Hope you all have a great monday.
Huge hugs Lou xx
