Thank you for taking the time to stop and look at my card today.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend

Rediscovering Miss Anya

Hi all! Well, here I am, a day late for my DT day... a big thanks to Pops for covering for me! Picture the scene..... My card was all made and ready for sharing.....I made myself late for work because I was taking some last minute pictures of it.....I get to work, load up my photo-editor..... reach for my camera..... only to realise I'd left the lead at home! ARGH! Anyway, here I am, a day late, but better late than never, right?!

I really enjoyed making this card. Initially I messed up my colouring on the body. As I'd already coloured her head, I chopped it off (I know, I felt barbaric too!) and stuck it on the body of another Miss Anya in the set. Hey presto, you can't tell the difference :o)

Not only was it a joy to play with Miss Anya again, I also got to stroke some American Crafts papers. Did you know that American Craft now do 6x6 pads?! Well they do and Tracy's got 'em - just follow the linkies below. There is only one work for them.... delish.

Anyway, enjoy the sunshine that we've been promised! It's still a bit murky here in Southampton, but there are signs of hope peaking through :o)

Nurse Nightingale

Hi all, I am here with a card I have made using the Kraftin' Kimmie Nurse Nightingale stamp. Now I don't know about you but I like she looks like she is enjoying herself about to give an injection to some poor patient! I have coloured her in with Copics and added to a base made from Bazzill Kraft CS and Memory Box Iris CS. The greeting is By Paula Pascal for Personal Impressions and I have finished the card off with Bazzill Jewels.

Happy Everything!

Hi everyone! Hope you are well and that the rain isn't getting you down too much. I'm here today with a little card that with hopefully put a smile on your face.... Happy Everything!

I went a little crazy with the MFT Die-Namics and the glitter, but I think it works well with the princess image. Hope you agree! 😊

Have a fab weekend,
Stacey

Just Because

Hi all! Friday means that it is my turn to post on the blog!

I've taken a slightly different approach with today's card. You know you often get a plain design on the back of pretty papers? Well, other than using it to cover the base of my card blank, I don't often give these plain designs a lot of attention. However, these Authentique papers had such a pretty plain side that I decided to make them the focus of my card.

I think that the number of layers adds the detail needed to make up for the lack of pattern... what do you think?

Whilst I'm never going to abandon pretty papers entirely, I'm glad I gave the neglected reverse side a chance to shine :o)

Make a Wish

Hello all. Hope you haven't been washed away in this horrendous weather! Here is something a bit more bright and cheerful for you :o)

Once again, I couldn't resist whipping out another CC Designs image (soooo cute) and yet more Echo Park paper... Yes, I know I'm obsessed and may need to expand my crafty repertoire, but how can I when all these goodies are so delicious?!

Regular readers of my blog will know that I also have a love for Die-Namics, so I had to squeeze in a little close-up of my sparkly butterflies, didn't I?!

Hope you've enjoyed reading about my little card. Everything featured is available in the DTDF store, so get clicking on the links below :o)

With Love...

Happy Friday! Hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend - I know I certainly am! I wanted to share with you a pretty little card that I made using some fantastic DTDF stash.

I just love CC Design images. I haven't played with them for ages and I forgot how much I enjoy colouring them with my Copics. I think this particular one works really well with these yummy MME papers.

As usual, all the linkies are below for extra ease :)
