Whimsy Sentiments....

I have a quick and fun make to share today using Whimsy Stamps Simple Sentiments
this technique is great for making batches of cards....I like to make little sets of thank you cards for selling at craft fairs...
All you need is a stamp block, Distress Inks.......stamp chosen colours directly onto the stamp block spritz with water and then press the block onto the cardstock....easy peasy! then you can stamp your sentiment once the ink has dried!
Thanks for popping in!

Snowflakes....

Oh I am so late today.....I had a pretty stressful week last week for reasons that I won't bore you all with but cardmaking was waaayyyy down the list.  So it was a quick aarrgghh I need a card for my post.......this took probably not even half an hour to make....great for if you need to make a card in a hurry!
I have used 2 colours of Distress Ink to make the background and then these gorgeous Marianne Design Snowflake dies...really wishing now that I had cut them from sparkly card instead of plain....next time!
and then a few sequins added from my stash to the centre!
I am thinking you could use this style for loads of different dies....flowers, stars, numbers....I could go on but I think you get the idea!
I hope you like!

Vintage Violet

Hey all, Jen here. Its my turn to offer a little Inspiration today. I have decided to use a lovely image from Saturated Canary - Vintage Violet.

She is coloured with Distress Ink markers to match my papers. I do love a little Purple, and as soon as I saw these lush papers from Whimsy I just had to use them. I have distressed the edges with Vintage Photo. I have also used the cute little Star stamp from Morehead - Christmas Angel stamp set dotted about Violet. I just loved the flash of pink :)

The letters at the bottom are cut with die-namics high rise alphabet, in lowercase die set. I have covered them with frantage and a little purple embossing powder. The gem in her hair is part of a set from Prima, It makes a perfect flower I thought. Links to all the products at the bottom.

Thanks for popping in, have a great weekend all xxx

Morning everyone!!
Hope you are all having an awesome monday so far. Its Lou here with a super cute little share this morning. I love these TGF Furever stamps......I used a sketch from my friend Michelle, it was a dream to work with and I will be using it tonnes, it worked perfectly with those gorgeous stroke only Lucille papers!!

I colored her up with my promarkers and then gently added a few of the heart stamp in the set around her. There are a few dots of glossy accents around her too and the edges are all inked with vintage photo distress ink.

Before I go, I just wanted to let you know that this months Spring challenge is the last challenge we will be having here on the blog. We are sad to see the challenge blog but hope to see you still sharing your gorgeous creations over on the Dies To Die For facebook pages where we are looking forward to giving a random prize each month to those of you who share your creations with us over there :)

Chloe Stem

Hello there, Michelle here. For my card today I have used the ever so pretty Chloe Stem from Memory Box. I have cut it from Bazzill Raven CS and mounted to the base with glue. The base has been made by making a mask using one of the circles from the MFT Die-Namics Circle Stax collection. I have then inked the centre using Tim Holtz Concord Crush Distress Ink before peeling the mask away to show a prefect circle of ink. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamp Everyday Sentiments set and has been stamped in the bottom corner.

Trimming the tree!

Morning Peeps!
Its Lou here with a bit of a christmassy make to show you all. I just can't resist a Saturated Canary so I inked one of the gorgeous stamps up and got out some of my favourite christmas papers yesterday and had a good old play!!!

So this little cutie is my DT make for you all to peeky today. I had some colouring time in the afternoon while Mo and Daddy played on the PS3 and yummy makey time last night once an exhausted Mo had fallen asleep and it was bliss!! I also seem to of has a complete die cutting fest with all the different dies on it too!!!

There is.......

The stamp is Saturated Canary Trimming the Tree. She was just so lovely to stamp and colour and I love those layers in her dress.

The papers and the little cookie hearts are all from the First Edition Festive Treats 6x6 paper pad, its yummy with lots of double sided and glittery papers in. I foam dotted the hearts onto some MME merry and bright twine (...sob sob...its almost my last little bit of this gorgeous twine!!) and of course a little bit of Stickles Star Dust bling to finish off the baubles, star and skirt on the tree.

Hugs Lou xx
