Pink Honey August

Hi peeps, Dawny P here and hope you are all OK.

I thought I’d share a little something today that I did for Tracy for a mag recently ….

… and this is it.

It’s such an easy to card to make and takes next to no time and I think it’s really pretty.

And practically everything I used to make it is available from Tracy over at the Dies To Die For website :)

Want some making up instructions?

Here you are ……

Mat a piece of 144mm square pink large polka dots paper onto a piece of blue cardstock and trim to leave a narrow border. Stick to the front of a 152mm square white card base.

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 128mm square and punch around the edges using the Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page Border Punch Set. Cut a piece of square pink small polka dots paper to 100mm square and stick onto the punched panel. Stick centrally to the front of the card base using clear foam pads.

Stamp the image onto a piece of Craftwork Cards Digital Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock and cut into a diamond shape using the largest die from the Nestabilities set. Colour with Copics Ciao Marker Pens and highlight cheeks, knees and the flower in her hair with white opaque pen. Stick centrally to front of card base.

Make a bow from the white organza ribbon and stick to the front of the card in the bottom left hand corner using a small piece of Wonder Tape. Die cut 2 flowers from the Marianne Designs Creatables Flowers set, one in blue and one in white. Stick a pink button in the centre of the white flower and then stick onto the blue flower. Lift the edges of the white flower to add dimension then stick on top of the bow using a small piece of Wonder Tape.

Decorate with flat backed pearls.

And that’s it – easy peasy :)

I hope the instructions help and that you enjoy making this as much as I did. Have fun and happy crafting :)

Hugs, Dawny xxx
