Homespun mini album

Happy Friday all, Linda here!

As it's Friday it must be my turn for another DT make for Dies to Die for. This week I have another mini album to share with you, I really love making these, though they can be a bit time consuming sometimes, they are really worth it.

This one actually went together pretty quick, the page design is a simplified version of the pages  in my Say Cheese album, because I only had 1 6 x 6 paper pad to play with. I think it came out great!

This paper pad has a lot of 'homemade' elements to it and I picked up on that theme for my album and highlighted it with my choice of charms, also choosing some rustic ribbon and button twine from my stash to fit in with the whole feel of the album.

I've linked the products used at the end of my post.

If you would like to see a video of the finished album, you can find it here

That's all from me today, see you again next week! :) xx

Say Cheese!

Warning! Photo heavy post.
Happy Friday! Linda here and I have another mini album to share today. This one uses the fantastic paper pad from Simple Stories 'Say Cheese'. I love, love, love this paper collection. I had such a lot of fun making this mini and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

I kept the design on the front fairly simple to showcase the fab papers, just decorating with some chipboard letters, brads and fishtail banners and some stitched frames from the CC Designs Make a Card set #4.

The only thing I hate about mini albums is trying to photograph them, it's sooooo hard, and no way to show all the photo mats and interactive stuff. SO ....if you want to see more, drop by my blog tomorrow because I'll be sharing a video of this album, which really is the best way to view these.

I used the following items from Dies to Die for

(Ignore the picture of the stamps, this is the link to the 6 x 6 paper pad I used in this mini album)
(to edge my layers)

Well that's all from me today, don't forget to check by my blog for a video of this project tomorrow afternoon, and I'll be back again next Friday. Happy crafting! :) xx

Paper Crush

Alrighty then, it's Faye here today and I'm treating you to a double dose of gorgeousness, with some scrummy goodies from the latest release at C.C.Designs, and papers from Simple Stories. Which, I have to say, I have a serious paper crush on. So, I think it's time for less talking and more looking...

What've we got here then? C.C.Designs Swiss Pixie Ready for Rain... soooooo cute. I've used a C.C.Designs By DIE-Zyne Half Oval Die, to pop up an oval from the back of the card to make a bit of a different card blank. And have I mentioned my Simple Stories paper crush?! This pretty paper comes from Simple Stories A Charmed Life. Lovely colours.

Ready for some more?

This project is all about my fave's. I think the Simple Stories Homespun paper pad has to be my all time favourite. I literally only have a few scraps left. C.C.Designs Swiss Pixie Banner Heidy is also possibly going into my fave's box, along with this old Simple Banner Die from Memory Box.

Anyway, all this talking about favourites has made me hungry, time for some breakfast me thinks! Have a wonderful day.

Woodland Winter

Hello everyone Ann-Marie popping in today to share a little craftiness with you all.

Okay so I know you've all probably had enough of anything Christmas related but Tracy sent me the most cutest set of stamps and as my Christmas stash was still out all over my craft room I couldn't resist playing with them.  The stamp set is 'Woodland Winter' by Taylored Expressions and you get such a fab choice to play with and if you look on the shop website here there is even a set of matching dies you can use.  I kept my card really simple I paper pieced the tree from a couple of sheets from the paper pad 'December Documented' by Simple Stories, coloured up the cute little squirrel with my copics and stamped out one of the sentiments in the stamp set.  Such a simple card but I love it.

Its the most wonderful time of the year!

Good morning everyone, it's Ann-Marie here today.  Are you all organised for Christmas or are you like me and the panic is beginning to set in and the term 'headless chicken' comes to mind!!! Well I thought I would make little tree gifts this year and after having a little think decided to go down the milk carton route.

So here is my dinky little fellow all decorated with the gorgeous papers from Simple Stories 'December Documented' and edged with Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink.  I stamped a sentiment from Whimsy in Memento 'Tuxedo Black' and attached that to the front.  From start to finish it didn't take long at all so great to fit in with all of your other Christmas preparations - just another five to make now and fill with little choccies!
