Hoppy hoppy joy joy!

Hi everyone, it's Kat here!

I know I don't usually pop up on the blog on a Tuesday but I had a card I just *had* to share with you and couldn't wait until Friday!

I don't know if you remember my volcano card from a few months ago (HERE if you missed it) but I just knew that I'd find more uses for the slider mechanism in it...

...and JUMP!!!...

As soon as I saw the frogs I knew this card had to happen; the slider mechanism is perfect for adding a fun interactive element.

And you know what else is perfect?  My timing, because the volcano die set which includes the slider mechanism is on offer this week - yay!

DISCLAIMER: I promise I actually had no idea it would be on offer this week when I made the card; sometimes these things just happen :-)

If you would like more pictures and info but currently no lists of Copic colours (ahem, I may have misplaced them!), then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Have a joyful day!

Boom!

Hi everyone, it's Kat here!

A few weeks ago I really enjoyed playing with the volcano dies from MFT and couldn't resist another play but this time for something a little more interactive!

Did you spot the pull tab?

Do you wanna see what happens?!

Boom!  It was so easy to create the slider element as all the bits you need are included in the die set, and this could be used for so many other slider cards too...watch this space I guess!

If you would like more pictures and details on how I created this card, including the Distress Oxide colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Have a fabulous day!

Lava-ly!

Happy Friday and Happy Easter weekend everyone!

It's Kat here and I can hardly believe it but there were no Copics involved in the making of this card!

Instead, I had fun playing with the new MFT volcano dies and co-ordinating sentiment stamps...yes, it's another punny card!

I used Distress Inks to colour the background, the volcano and the foliage, and really love the effect they create, and it's so quick to do as well!

Have a lava-ly day!
