May Sweetheart

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Linda here with my inspirational post and I do hope you like it cos I have to admit I'm just a bit chuffed with this one.

I've combined Time for Tea's newly released 'Sweetheart' with the new Pion Design collection 'One Day in May (links to products are as always at the end of this post).

Since the papers are very soft and vintage looking, I thought I'd try colouring the image with Distress Inks, not thinking it would work too well, her being very modern looking, ...well was I surprised, cos she looks fab!

The little tickets are cut from the element sheet/

I've just realised on posting this that I forgot to colour in her eyebrow! I'll have to go back and touch that up lol.

On the inside  I decorated with the other side of one of the papers and a postcard from the element sheet for writing a message on.

Alva Roses

Happy Tuesday folks, DT Linda here with my inspiration post for today.  I'm in super early to work as we have a horrendously busy schedule, I shall be shattered come home time I think!

I had a play with one of the new range from Bildmalarna 'Alva'  . These are a bit like grown up versions of the Mimosa stamps I think, anyway they are all gorgeous (Tracy has the full range in stock) and I found it VERY hard to choose just one.  But in the end I settled for this one, Alva Roses.

I used some fab papers from Inkidoo, the good news is that they're on sale!

I didn't put too many embellishments on my card, because the butterfly dies are so stunning they don't need much else.

I cut the border into pieces so that I could place it around my frame.
