Big Birthday Wishes

Hello there, my card today uses the MFT Big Birthday Wishes stamp set. Isn't she fab! The set comes with a few sentiments and I love the fonts with these. I have stamped her and coloured with Copics; mounted to the base with 3D foam pads. The base is made from two papers from the Echo Park Sweet Day Collection. I have cut an MFT Die-namics File Tab and stamped the greeting on this before popping it behind the image. The button has been added using Divine Twine in Lemon.

Back 2 school blues!!

Morning Everyone! Its Lou here with a post for you all today!!

Its back to school day here in Lincolnshire after a wonderful half term break ( or even longer for my little guy as he was off school sick for the week before half term too...sigh!!) and true to normal form my little guy went into back to school meltdown last night as we went up to bed :(

So I decided to make him a little card to cheer him up in the morning. I used a whole tonne of my fav dies and papers for this one, all the links are under the top piccy.

I also cut a little tag to pop out of the pocket from the scraps of paper I had left and decorated it with some stamps.

Mo takes a 'mummy snuggle' to school everyday so I stamped them onto the back of the tag so he can pop it in his trouser pocket. I coloured the little heart blue because blue is his favourite colour!

I hope it makes him smile today and made you smile too!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Fairytale Flowers

Hello there, here is my card I have made for latest Die-Ing With A Challenge. The base is made from Bazzill Kraft CS with the two bottom corners rounded. I have then cut three MDT Die-namics Hexagon stax dies from Echo park Sweet Day paper and added these to the base. I have taken the Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork die and cut this from another sheet from the same EP collection and added on top of the hexagons. I have then stamped the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Furry Freinds set on one of the hexagons. The Prima Fairytale Flowers have been added and then the card has been finsihed off by adding a little butterfly cut from the Memory Box Butterfly Border die.

Birds....

Good morning as you all know I love coffee/tea and birds and birdcages, I got some lovely new dies and stamps from my hubby and thought it is about time I had a play with them, I have mixed and matched my dies and stamp sets and I had so much fun playing with these....

I have used the fabulous Whimsy Vintage papers and distressed the edges, I used Felt to cut out my birds and my roses, I really enjoy making these now, I have added my last bit of stardust to the edges of the roses as I had to have a little sparkle somewhere...

I added some pearls that I coloured with marker for there eyes...

I have stamped the sentiment on to a Fishtail and cut both ends with the same one to create a fishtail at both ends...

I have used up my scraps on the inside and a little flowers, I used a Button Quartet for the center with some of the solid Divine Twine, thank you so much for looking today, biggest of hugs love Pops x x x
