Blanche the Butterfly

I've loved the Tiny Townies images from Stamping Bella since they were first released and the new butterfly set are no exception.  This one's called Blanche and I even love her dainty hands! The folds on the dress were challenging but she didn't turn out too badly for a first attempt!  I added some white gel pen speckles on her wings and also some speckles on the sky around her although it doesn't show up well in the photograph!

Teddy Birthday Presents

It's my mid-week post and I'm using Teddy Birthday Presents from Whimsy Stamps combined with a sentiment from Stamping Bella's Dorothy the Dreamer. Although my teddy bear is cute, I'm hoping this might be sufficiently masculine for hubby's birthday card.

There Are Always Flowers with Stamping Bella

Hey everyone it's Elaine, back with more Stamping Bella inspiration today here on the Dies to Die For blog.

One of my favourite stamp lines is the Stamping Bella Tiny Townies line. They are like little sisters to the stylish Uptown Girls, and they are A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. The recent release included some gorgeous new Tiny Townie Garden Girls *happy sigh* along with a fab Floral Sentiment Set to go with them.

That's all for today, see you again next week. In the meantime, happy stamping and colouring!

Blossom Loves Balloons CAS style

Happy Friday everyone, I hope everyone is looking forward to their weekend.

Sadly this is my last post for Dies to Die for as I'm trying to make a bit more time for family stuff and the things I need to do like house hunting. I'm very sad to leave the DT because I've been here for 2 years now and they have been the best ever. So a big thank you to the lovely Tracy, fabby DT leader Lou and all the wonderful girls on the team .

My last card is a CAS, yes, who would have thought that I'd find a little soft spot for making them. Well they are super when you're in a hurry i will say and also they are fab when you want to actually post something in an envelope. This was the card I made for my Mum's birthday, a couple of weeks back now, she'd been on  holiday and I wasn't sure she'd be at home when it was delivered, so I didn't want a parcel getting lost or her having to go and collect it, so I wanted something that would go through the letter box.

I used the adorable Blossom from the Tiny Townies collection, love this stamp. I chose bright colours cos my Mum likes cheerful things.

I think this is about as CAS as it' possible for me to go, I had to sit down for a bit afterwards!

I raised the back layer on some foam tape added this sentiment which is sooooo my Mum if you knew her lol and finished with just few gems coloured to match with my Copics.

Sadly the whimsy sentiment stamp I used is no longer stocked, but you can find loads of fab other sentiment sets by Whimsy here.

All that's left is for me to say a sad farewell, but I'm sure I'll see you around blogland, I haven't given up crafting, I'm just cutting back and avoiding deadlines.

Take care :) xx
