I have been doing a little die cutting for this card, using the recently released MFT Birthday boy & girl dies.
As soon as I saw them I thought they'd be great to use for inlaid die cutting; it's such a simple but really effective technique and works with all those lovely big sentiment dies.
I've used the balloon edge die from a blueprints set, which is out of stock right now, but you could easily use a circle die and just cut a little piece for the bottom.
