Time to Chill

Hello everyone, Ann-Marie popping in today to share some crafty inspiration with you all.

Well for my card I've gone all pink and girly and pastel which is quite a change for me and I like it.  I took my colour inspiration from the gorgeously gorgeous Glitz Design 'Carpe Diem' papers such the prettiest colour combinations and inked up The Greeting Farm 'Dollie with Ice Cream' image.  I decided to cut her out and paper piece her dress but did highlight some of it with my copic markers.  The cute sentiment is from the stamp set too as is the ice cream I just coloured it in, cut it out and raised it up on some foam pads.  This is a fab stamp set too as you get some really cute little sentiments plus the ice cream image.

A little close up of the adorable image.  Look at those beautiful big eyes and she's a great size too.

Daphne

Happy Tuesday all! Linda here with my Tuesday inspiration post.  It's back to work for me today so this post is scheduled, but I only have today and tomorrow in work and then I have a few days off as I'm visiting my parents.  This does mean no more cards from me for a week and a half as I won't be crafting (though I will be colouring images while I'm away) but I'll try and get my Blog Candy sorted before I go.

Anyway on to my project for today.  It's a card using the adorable Daphne by the talented Artist Sylvia Zet, love her images. I paired her with a gorgeous papers from MME.  I've listed all the items used from the shop at the end of my post, with links to take you straight to them.

I coloured Daphne up in Copics to match the papers, and cut an aperture in my paper with a Stax die to frame her. I inked all the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink and sewed them with top stitch thread.

I added some glitter to her wings and doted her with some liquid pearls in white opal.

I added a lovely bow cut with a Die-namics die and used a piece of a Prima embellishment in the top corner. I added a bit more Prima bling to the bow and a couple of corners.

I used a co-ordinating sheet of paper from the same pad to decorate the inside of the card, and added some plain white card cut with one of the stax dies.

Well that's all from me for today, I'll see you again in 2 weeks time with some more inspiration to share.

Take care! : ) x x

Flutterby to say Hi.......

Morning everyone!

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. I have a card to share using one of those totally gorgeous Tiddly Inks stamps!! (ok, so I may be a little biased being on the Tiddly Inks DT but oh man! they are just soooooo cute!!!!) and they stamp like a dream to which is always great!!

I colured her up with my promarkers and used my blender pen a lot to get that soft feel to it, I LOVE doing this at the minute!! I suck at all other pens so finding something new to do with my promarkers is always fun. ( and just incase you didn't know, promarkers are just £1.50 at the minute!!)

Thank you for popping in!

Serenade Moments

Good morning everyone, Ann-Marie popping in today as it's my turn to share something of the crafty variety with you all.

Well I've made a little set of draws which look so darn cute and would make an ideal gift as you can put little treats in the draws.  I made all the little matchboxes with the fabulous Cheery Lynn Matchbox set (small) which comes with two dies - one to make the inside box and one to make the outside cover of the box and I must say it so cuts down on the time it would take to make the little boxes myself and no measuring either it's all done for you just fold and stick brilliant!  I used a gorgeous Candibean stamp called 'Serenade Moments' and coloured it in with my Prismacolour pencils for a change and then decorated it all with lush Glitz papers called 'Happy Travels' and there are some gorgeous colours in this set.  All the edges have been inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a few flowers added to finish off.

Okay that's all from me today.  Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday and happy crafting.

Take care.

Charmings

Happy Tuesday folks!  It's Linda back to day with my inspiration post.
I've been having a bit of a play with Inktense watercolour pencils and coloured up this Saturated Canary stamp by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  This stamp was actually a present from my DT chum Jenny for my birthday, but Tracy stocks her in the store, she's called Charmings.  I've added links to items used at the end of my post, but because Inlinkz want's to charge me a fortune to carry on using them, they're just standard links now, no pretty pictures sorry.

I don't think she came out half bad! I paired her up with these gorgeous Whimsy papers I've had in my drawer for some time, just waiting for the right card to use them on.
You can find the colours I used on my blog here, along with a few extra photos.

I used a lovely Whimsy sentiment and die that I thought went perfectly on this card and I finished it off with a little Prima bling.
I've stitched all my papers with top stitch thread.  I inked the edges with Distress Ink in dusty concord.

Finally I decorated the inside of the card with some more papers from the pack to complement the front.

Well that's all from me today, I'll  see you again next week and in the meantime, why not try something new?

Have fun! : ) x x

A little box .....

Stamp- What's cooking?
Papers- Daisy Bucket Perfect Harmony- Callie.
Stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Coloured with promarkers.
edges of paper inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink pad.

Good morning everyone!

I hope you have all had lovely weekends. I had some crafty time making a little box for my niece's birthday. My brother and sister and I have a £5 gift rule for the children in our family as we are all a little short on pennies.

Harriet loves making cupcakes so I decided to make a little box we can pop £5 and some cake sprinkles in little plastic bags into.

The box itself is from the Silhouette store so if you have a silhouette machine, you can find it HERE

And one of my all time favourite Mo Manning by Stamping Bella stamps, Whats Cooking? was just absolutely posatootly perfect for this job!! I stamped her out 3 times, once on my colouring paper and then once on either side of the paper I had left over from making the box. I stamped her on each side so I could have a different colour dress and apron. These Daisy Bucket papers are just fantastic, they are so pretty and they cut perfectly on my cameo machine, its always sooo good to find a paper that will cut great on your machines!!! I gave the edges a gentle inking with my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink pad.

She really is just the cutest!! I didn't use her little sentiment as I had already worked on cutting Harriet's name to go along the curved line of the box in my Silhouette software.

Thank you for popping in!

Happily Ever After in May

Good morning everyone it's Linda here with  another of my regular Tuesday inspiration posts.
Ok so, it's very rare that I take on commissions, like almost never.  I simply have so much I have to make for DTs and I like to craft for fun after all, trying to also fit into what somebody else wants has a tendency to stop my creative flow right in it's tracks. However, my partner's mother asked me for a couple of wedding cards, I've been thinking about making a couple anyway, I loooove making wedding cards, and she didn't tie me down with specific demands as to putting this or that on it, so I had pretty free reign, I work best like that.

Now ever since I first had the Day in May collection from Pion Design sent to be, I've been wanting to make a wedding card with it, because some of the papers just seem totally made for it, and then I combined it with my most favourite stamp ever from Tiddly Inks (I love it too because you can use it for such a lot, weddings, engagements, anniversaries, valentines etc).

It's not often I totally love one of my creations, I'm picky, and my own worst critic, BUT, I have to say that I totally LOVE how this turned out, I almost don't want to give it away lol.

So I'm not going to waffle any more, I shall just let the pictures do the talking. Links to products used can be found at the end of the post as usual.

If you want to see some more pics head over to my blog here I also have candy which ends on the 15th, so you still have time to enter.
Well I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, any questions feel free to drop me a comment or an email. That's all from me for today, enjoy your Tuesday and I'll see you again same time next week.
Take care and happy crafting! : ) x x

Saturday Birthday Party girl :)

Hey lovelies, Happy Friday. Jen here with a little card to share today. This week I am sharing a birthday card I made for my Sister, Its not her birthday till next week, but she is not on Facebook, and is so busy I think she is unlikely to see it on my blog - So Shhh don't tell her lol!

I have coloured up Saturday Birthday Party by Saturated Canary with distress inks. The papers are Maja - Yes I know. I popped the Lovely View finder die cut in the layers. I distressed the papers with the Ranger distress tool, and machine sewed them. I thought I would go with a few pop's of colour in the floral arrangement. I love these lilac rolled roses with the hot pinks ;).

Anyway thanks for popping in. Have a great weekend. xx
