Tress Joyful

Hey lovelies, Jen here with my Friday inspiration. This week I have gone with a gorgeous image from Make it Crafty on my card - Tress Joyful.

Isn't she just the cutest! I used copics to colour her up. I matched her with lush papers from My Minds Eye - Record it Pretty Things. I do love a bit of MME, I have an equally huge collection of them in a basket next to me as the Maja pile lol! I popped one of the fab new sentiments from Whimsy - Girl talk. I decided to keep the flowers in nice bold colours, so to add some contrast I used some layers of the fab Memory Box - corner bow.

Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks for popping in xxx

Abstract Art

Hello there, Michelle here sharing a card I have made with the MFT Abstract Art stamp set. I wanted to try and use it in a CAS way and I think it turned out quite nice! I have stamped the paint stripes in various Memento inks and then stamped the sentiment underneath. Sadly this sentiment looks like it is no longer being manufactured by MFT but there are lots of others available over at the shop. I have finished off with a few enamel dots.

Bildmalarna Alva 'Feeling'

Good morning everyone and wishing you a very happy Wednesday.  Well that means it's my turn, Ann-Marie, to share some crafty inspiration with you all today.

This week I have made a Step Card and it was so quick and easy to do as I used the Cheery Lynn Designs 'Step Card' die and for my image I used Bildmalarna Alva 'Feeling' coloured up with my copics.  I teamed her up with Bildmalarna papers Sweet Tones 'Music in my Garden' and Sweet Tones 'Purple Flowers' and boy are these gorgeous really didn't want to cut into them!  I distressed all the edges with my scissors and then inked around them with Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain'.

A bit of a side view.  I didn't want to embellish too much as I really didn't want to cover up the beautiful papers.

A quick close up of the image isn't she sweet and lovely to colour.

Items used

Papers:  Bildmalarna Sweet Tones 'Music in my Garden' & 'Purple Flowers'

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you a little to get those crafty fingers a making!

Take care,
Ann-Marie

Breeze

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's DT Linda here with my Tuesday inspiration post and for me it really is a happy Tuesday and for once my post is not scheduled because I'm off work until Thursday, yay!  So lots of crafting time for me !
I used the delectable 'Breeze' a Saturated Canary stamp in rubber, produced by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  Isn't she just gorgeous?  I coloured her with my Copics this time but I'm itching to colour her in distress inks too, she's so lovely to colour. If you want to know the colours I used them pop over to my blog where they're all listed for you.

The papers are by Inkido, I love them so much I had a hard time cutting them and then when I went to link them I discovered they were out of stock, horror! There are others in the range that are still in stock, very similar  and just as pretty.

I used some beautiful Prima flowers, some gorgeous pleated organza ribbon, some gold lace which is just too lovely and I managed not to cover completely, some Prima bling and a beautiful brad to hold my seam binding bow in place.  As always links to items in the shop are at the end of this post.

I added some tiny Memory Box butterflies and some Liquid Pearls to finish off my image, and my sentiment.
The sentiment is from a whimsy stamp set and has been cut with a Marianne Design set of dies that I also used the cut the circle framing the image and the aperture for the inside of the card below.

Well that's all from me today, I'll be back next week.  Until then, have fun crafting! : ) x x

Hello

Hello there, Michelle here sharing  a card I have made using the MFT Moroccan Stars stencil. I have used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken China and applied this with a sponge dauber. I have then added a little shine spray. I have then taken one of the hello dies from the MFT Happy Hellos Die-Namics set and run this through my Cuttlebug three times and layered them up. This has been added to the card and I have then finished it off with some MME Enamel Dots and Bazzill Jewels.

'I Do'

Hello everyone and wishing you a very happy Wednesday indeed.  Well as it's Wednesday you have me, Ann-Marie, popping in to share a little of the crafty goodness with you all and I was feeling in the mood for a little wedding inspiration today.

So I have made a card using the most adorable little wedding couple from The Greeting Farm 'I Do' set.  Now I could have done the obvious and used white for her dress but once I saw the gorgeous Teresa Collins papers 'Save the Date' well I thought I would buck tradition and go for a pale pink.  Unfortunately I seem to have covered up quite a lot of the papers but trust me they're just beautiful.  If you look carefully you can see a frame with lots of hearts on it (you can probably see it better in the side view picture) well that's from the 'Love Arch Squares' die set from Tonic Studios and boy I love these dies they're a great size and loads of possibilities and the mat that the wedding couple are on was also cut using one of the smaller dies in the set.

A close up of the happy couple and as you can see I went a little mad with the 'Star Dust' Stickles on her veil but it does look lovely.  As usual I've linked all the fabby goodies I used at the end of the post for you.
