Happy Friday Bumble Bee

Hey lovelies, Jen here with your Friday inspiration. Today I thought I would share a pretty bright card :)

I have used the super cute Izzy's Bumble Bee. She is coloured with Copics. I went nice an bright with her as its such a summer feel to the image. I Matched her with these lush papers from Bildmalarna - Picnic - Lots of Flowers and Bildmalarna - Sweet Tones - Tones of the Wind. I popped Izzy on a little Spellbinders Leafy Squares frame too, seemed a fitting frame given all the nature going on lol! Finally I added a few sprigs from the Doohickey Leaf and swirl die set to give my flowers a little texture.

Have a great day all, Thanks for popping in xx

"Close your eyes"

Good morning everyone, it's Wednesday so that means you have me, Ann-Marie, popping in to share something crafty with you all.

Today I would like to show you a card I have made using the Whimsy Stamps image 'Ciara & Sandy' and are they not an adorable pair.  I chose my paper first which is Whimsy 'Love is in the Air' and that inspired the colour theme for the card and I love the turquoise and red together.  The beautiful sentiment is from the same stamp set in fact it's one of a few that comes with the image; I love it when you get complementing sentiments.

Okay enough of my waffle let me show you my finished card.  As usual all the items I've used are listed below with links to the store.

Gardner Gayle

Happy Tuesday all you lovely crafters.  It's Linda here with my Tuesday inspiration.   As Mother's Day or Mothering Sunday, in the UK is only a few weeks away, I thought this would make a delightful Mother's Day card, although it could equally be used for  a birthday or thank - you card and probably various other sorts as it's quite a versatile image. But enough waffle and on with the pics! As usual there are links to products at the end of my post that will take you directly to that product in the store.

The stamp is one of the wonderful Saturated Canary collection from Little Darling's Rubber Stamps, drawn by the uber talented Krista Smith, isn't she beautiful?  I was tempted to colour her with Distress Inks as I really think she'd suit them, but my Copics have been feeling quite neglected of late, so I thought I'd give them some love. You can pop over to my blog if you want to see the colours used.

I used design papers from the gorgeous Sofiero collection by Maja and I'm  embarrassed to say that I've pretty much covered 2 of layers with embellishment! What a numpty I am.  At least you can see one of them clearly used on the inside of the card.

I used some seed packets cut from Pion Design element sheets. I love these sheets for an inexpensive way of adding some interest to your cards and really 1 sheet will last you for several cards. I used a La La Land Crafts die to cut the leaves that are sitting behind my flowers. To finish up I added some cute little gardening themed charms.

Well that's it from me today, I hope that you enjoyed my share and that it inspired you to make something.

Huggles,

Linda xx

Penny's Pully Wagon

Waving a big hello everyone! It's Ann-Marie dropping by today to show you something a little crafty.

I just love this little Candibean stamp 'Penny's Pully Wagon' its so cute (and on sale at the moment too) and when I saw it I thought hey I could make a pully wagon as a gift holder so that's what I did.  I've made a little wagon and decorated it all girly with some yummy Maja Design 'Vintage Summer Basics 1909' papers and its large enough that a little birthday gift can just sit in it.  I've put all the links below to the crafty goodies so you can find them easily in the shop.

Little Winged Friends - Wash

Happy Tuesday all, Linda here, I'm back to work this week so not quite so happy lol, but I did manage to get a lot of crafting done in my week off work, so today I'm bringing  you a card I made for my second tutorial, it's a step by step tutorial with photos (I'm not quite brave enough for video yet lol), you can find it under the new 'Tutorials' tab at the top of my blog or follow this link

I made another 'Magic' card, this is my second one ever and I do really enjoy making these.
I am very fed up with all the rain and wind and bad weather atm, so I thought I'd go for something spring like, inspired by this lovely Bildmalarna stamp that Tracy sent for me to have a play with. Isn't she the sweetest, washing all her wings? I coloured her with Distress Inks, which I thought really suited her.  I'm still learning to play with these and I'm still not completely satisfied with the results I get, but I'm enjoying working at it .

I used some older Maja Design papers, these are from the Spring Basics collection. Links to products used can be found at the end of my post as usual.
As the card has multiple folds and every surface is covered with pretty DP, it doesn't need a lot in the way of embellishments.

A view of the inside..I used a Martha Stewart punch to make these pretty edges. The sentiment is from a Whimsy Set.

...and one of the back.

I used 2 12 x 12 double sided sheets to make this card, and there was plenty left over for another card, even with decorating every surface!

I hope you enjoyed my share today and that it inspired you to have a go at making one of these cards.  For those of you who enjoyed my book card a few weeks back, check out my blog on Thursday when I'll be sharing a Tutorial for that!

Have fun folks! :) xx
