Hello Heidi

Hey lovelies, Its Jen here, and this is my first post for Dies to Die for. I was thrilled when Tracy asked me to join the this talented team. I decided to kick off with a beautiful Whimsy image and some of the delish Maja papers :)

Christmas Angel

Hello there, Michelle here with another Christmas card to share with you. For my card today I have used the very cute CC Designs Christmas Angel stamp which is currently in the sale over at the shop. I have stamped her out, coloured her with Copic Markers and added some Star Dust Stickles to her wings and then cut her out. I have popped her on to a little strip of paper from the Echo Park Winter Wishes Paper Pad and used the snowflakes (which I cut when I made my last card) to make a background for her. I have finished off with Bazzill Jewels.

'Lighting the Way'

Good morning everyone, it's Ann-Marie here and I am over the moon, excited and just a little nervous to be here with you today with my first creation as a Dies to Die for DT member.   So as it's my turn to share a little inspiration and I'm in full Christmas mode at the moment it had to be a Christmas card.

I decided to use Bildmalarna 'Mimosa - Lights the Way' for my image I just think she is such a cutie and I took my colour inspiration from the gorgeous Bazzill papers 'Nordic Pines' I just love the colours in this pad lovely and bold but still with a hint of traditional.  Everything has been edged with Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain' distress ink.

Steampunk Marci

Morning folks! I'm so excited to be here with my first ever post as a Dies to Die for DT member.  I've been making a lot of Christmas cards lately (and you'll see more of those in the coming weeks) but I thought I'd have a bit of a break from those today and share something different with you.

This is La La Land - Steampunk Marci, isn't she just too cute? So easy to colour and just made for fussy cutting I think.  I used the gorgeous Maja Design - Autumn Basics, I did have to stroke the paper a few times before cutting it! They've been edged with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.
I used a lot of Dies here, so many I couldn't fit a single flower on - gasp, I nearly has a panic attack lol, so they're all listed below. The little tickets are from Whimsy, they do a few of these sets which are just so useful whe you don't want to put a full blown sentiment on your card and you can use the matching die which cuts them perfectly.

I do hope you enjoyed my first post here, I have to say a huge thanks to Tracy and all the DT for having me here and for being so welcoming and if you stop by my blog, do check out the Dies to Die for Candy I'm giving away.  Take care and happy crafting! :) xx

Morning everyone!!!

I hope you are having a wonderful monday morning so far. I was in the festive mood again so it was time to ink up this Time for Tea designs stamp!

I went for those stunning kaisercraft Just believe papers again because they are just beautiful. I layered up a few of the snippets I had left from last weeks card then fussy cut around my sledging girl.

I popped her out on some foam so she wasn't flat on the card and popped one of the die cuts from the paper pack just behind her head.

Have an awesome day everyone! thanks for popping in!

Let It Snowflake

Hello there, Michelle here back with another Christmas card to share with you. This week I am using an older MFT Die-Namics die - Let It Snowflake. Although it has been out for a while now I still love it. Instead of using the positive die cuts I have used the negative to create an aperture in my card panel and added Bo Bunny Double Dot paper behind.

Friendship is the greatest gift...

Morning everyone!!

Christmas card making is getting into full swing in my little crafty garage so I was happy to play away with this gorgeous Wee stamps stamp!! its soooo cute!!! and it was a good old traditional colours day today too!!

The papers on this card, Just believe by Kaisercraft are just stunning and the pad even comes with gorgeous little die cut shapes and sentiments. I used one of the sentiments for the front of the card and one of the journalling die cuts for inside.

I cut my stamping card out with a fabulous die, I love the edge on this one, it comes out all distressed and gorgeous, love it!!! I stamped my stamp on and then coloured it up with promarkers.

When it came to putting it on the card I popped it up with some foam to make it stick out from the card base a little. I love doing that for a little extra dimension.

Thank you for popping in on us!

Merry and Bright

Good Morning everyone.
I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

I have used one of the adorable new Christmas Stamps from Bildmalarna for my card today.
The gorgeous deep red paper is by Imaginisce and the other stunning papers are Kaisercraft, I love these traditional colours.
The roses are made using Die-namics Mini Rolled Rose, these cut through the Wool Felt so easily. I have used my favourite Cheery Lynn Holly Leaves again. My sentiment is from the very useful Whimsy Holiday Noteables 2 set.

Close up of the adorable image, you can just about see the holly leaves stamped on the corners, they are from the same Whimsy sentiment set.

Thank you for taking the time to stop and look at my card today.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend

Jack and Bobbin....

Stamp- Elisabeth Bell Jack and Bobbin.
Morning all!!

I was in a christmassy mood and ooooooooh this awesome step card die came in my DT box so I just had to give it a whirl (...oh my..you need it its fab!!!).

I love, love, love this stamp too! it is just so very cute. All coloured up with promarkers and then it was onto fun putting the step card together.

I love the dimensional 'pop' of this die! its way to much fun to put together and it looks so pretty when it is standing up all finished.

I just added an extra little tab and sentiment onto it. It really didn't need much more than the awesome die and wonderful stamp on it.

Joy! crafts Open up Coach....

Morning everyone!

well on Friday I gave you all a choice of which die I would use on my bloggy post this morning and this is the one that won by oooooodles of votes!!

And it was fun to play with too! I cut it out twice and then carefully snipped the carriage out to use on the front of the card so that I couls have patterned paper o the inside of my card. Using a double sided paper made that super easy to get it all co-ordinated and there was still enough left over for making a couple of embellies to match!! yipee!!

Here's the inside....
