Three

Hello there, Michelle here to share a card I have made for my nephew who has just turned three. I first took a sheet of white cardstock and cut a circle in it using the MFT Circle Stax Die-Namics. I have then stamped the sentiment below, from the MFT First Place Award set, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I have added this panel to a blue cardstock base with 3D foam. I have then cut a star from red wool felt and added this to the middle. I used Nestabilities dies for this which are currently not in stock in the shop but a good alternative is the MFT Star Stax Die-Namics. The balloon is from an exclusive to MFT Stamp set which sadly cannot be purchased in the UK at present but hopefully Tracy might be able to sell it in the future. I cut out a 3 in the balloon using the MFT By The Numbers Die-Namics. I have finished the card off with some black Divine Twine and some MME Enamel Dots.

I love you little rabbit...

Morning everyone!

I haven't done a Gorjuss make in a little while so I decided it was time to get on that on saturday and had a wonderful time playing in my craft room and making this.

I have had this stamp for ages and not inked it up so I was really pleased to have a play. The bunny is coloured up to match the colours of my friend Charlotte's bunny who sadly died last week :(

She is coloured up with promarkers.
Thank you for popping in!

Donkey and Friends

Hello Everyone, I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend.

For my card today I used an adorable Crissy Armstrong Stamp by Whimsy with some beautiful My Minds Eye papers that are currently in the sale.
My flowers are made with the help of the wonderful  Die-namics Blueprints 3, I cut into them and shaped them slightly then added a Die-Namics Mini Rolled Rose to the centres.
For the corners I have used the Memory Box Ivy Tendrils die decorated with the fabulous Floral Delights.

A Happy Hello

Hello there, Michelle here with a card to share using the MFT Happy Hellos dies. I love these, I think they are very versatile. I have simply die cut mine from white cardstock and used the negative as a panel on my card. I have popped this up on 3D foam pads on to some turquoise cardstock. I have then die cut the Memory Box Butterfly Delights die from vellum.

Thanks so much for visiting the DTDF Blog today. We really appreciate it.

Burger Tilda...

Stamp- Burger Tilda.
Morning everyone!!
How are you all this fine monday? Great I hope.

I have been challenging myself again this weekend and limited myself to just one patterned paper. Boy oh boy that is harder than you think it might be!!! but with a little bit of inking around the edges and layering up it all came together in the end!! and I just had to choose pale blue and red to go with the gorgeous Burger Tilda I had coloured up!!

I popped her up on some silicone when she went on the card just to umpf her out a bit!! she is coloured up with promarkers!!

Yup!! just a common old sliced peaches tin...or any tin you like as long as it starts off looking as boring as this one I did!! he he he!!!

I keep all my tins, plomp them through a cycle in the dishwasher and then decorate away with a good old sheet of 12x12 double sided paper!! and there is always enough left over for die cutting some fru fru to add to your altered tin like butterflies, hearts, flowers etc.

I absolutely love this little stamp, she is Stinker and I adore her!! she has the cutest little face!! I ripped a little tear in my paper and added a little piece behind with a stamped sentiment on and tucked some heart stems in behind it.

Marci Getting Ready for Christmas.

Good Morning Everyone, I hope you are having a good weekend.

I have had great fun making a Shadow Box card with the amazing La La Lands Shadow Box Kit.
I was so impressed by this kit. You get everything you need, including the frames, holly leaves and the background trees with layers. It's made from high quality paperboard and was very easy to assemble.
It's a natural light wood colour which I really like but it would be easy to paint up if you wanted to.
I have placed sweet Marci with Christmas Ornament inside the box, the sentiment I used came with the stamp and fit perfectly onto the oval provided with the kit.

Side view to show the layers ( sorry it's a bit blurry!)

Martinis On Me

Hello there, Michelle here to share a card I have made using the MFT A La Modes Martinis On Me stamp. It is one of the older ones but I still love it. I have stamped her out on to a white cards base and then coloured with Copic Markers. I have then taken a strip of paper from the Echo Park Spots & Stripes Girl Collection and added it with some scallops. The scallops were made by cutting the MFT Small Scallop Border from Memory Box Begonia CS. I have then stamped the sentiment from the MFT A La Modes Big Birthday Wishes set and cut it out suing an MFT Fishtail Flags Stax. The card has been finished off with MME Enamel Dots.

My Minds Eye Washi Tape...

So Tracy has been adding more Washi Tape to the store recently. I love it, and have for a while now, but for those who have never heard about it let alone used it, I thought I would make a simple card with it.
So I have used a collection of My Minds Eye Washi tape called All is Bright. Washi tape is amazing as you can lift it off the card without causing any damage...which is great if you change your mind about placement...

So I cut little flag tails into the end and layered the Washi tape, added a doily folded around the front of the card and also a sticker from the All is Bright range.

So as you can see a very simple card. I have decided that I will be making a lot of cards with the Washi tape this year, I love how simple it is to use.

Smile...its a letter for you!!!

Papers- MME playdate.
Morning everyone!
Its Lou in for our normal monday date!! and this morning I have a bright and cheery  card using one of the new CC designs drozy's. This one is a sweetheart!!

I wanted to join in with the Daring Cardmakers 7 year birthday party so I chose some gorgeous rainbow multi coloured papers from the stunning MME Playdate 6x6 paper pad. The little banners, flower  and 'smile' also come from the pad so I couldn't resist snipping them out and using them too!!

I stamped her onto a piece of cardstock that I had cut out with my Die namics notebook paper die, I LOVE this die!! there's another one in the shop with the edge down the shorter side too, that ones of my neeeeeeeed list!!!

Thank you for popping in!

'Tis the Season to be Jolly!

Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

I'm here today to share a Christmas card with you.
The adorable image is by Elisabeth Bell and the beautiful papers are by Imaginisce, I love these traditional festive colours (they are in the sale at the moment too!)
My roses are made with Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses Die. The wool felt cuts really beautifully. The Holly Leaves are a Cheery Lynn die, this is brilliant because you get 3 different sizes and the detail on the leaves makes them look so realistic.

Items Used:

Stamp  - Whimsy by Elisabeth Bell Little Jack Drumming coloured with Promarkers
